Taking a bit of time to warm up before actually working on a project has been really enjoyable for me. I will most definitely continue this practice. A few french knots, fme on mulberry paper, knots amid a few yo yo's as well as french knots on gold tissue. These are the pages I have added since the last post. Now off to complete some domestic chores left from yesterday.

here to her blog. She does the most wonderful epp ever and has so many lovely things on her blog. I am enjoying the stitching thus far, as I said it is not much, but it is a start. A seam of buttonhole stitch, which I may go back and do a second round. A bit of a puffed up circle, which is made using cabone rings. I have two more of those to stitch before I move on to something else. I also made a small book to do warm up stitching in. The idea was taken from Karen Ruane after she did a post on her blog this past week. Now off to grab a cuppa and stitch a bit more.

I was able to baste four and half new stars for the 60 degree star quilt I am working on. Basting while waiting in the eye dr's office on yesterday with my dad.
I hope to have more basted before I leave on Thursday. I plan to stitch when I am not driving on the way back from TX with my dd who will be coming home for the summer break from uni. It has been five months since I was able to give her a big hug. I am looking forward to helping her drive back.
I participated in Jewels Easter Time Swap for the second year this year. It is always a fun swap to do. You take the words: Easter Time and do a little gift for each letter. After my parcel did not arrive my partner graciously made another parcel for me.Lovely apron with cherries scattered about it.
A new pin cushion and embroidery scissors,
The whole grouping, blogger for some reason would not let me put this pic first.
An awesome book that I have actually had on my to buy list for a while now. Now I can mark it off :)
A wonderful Easter mini that I can display every year
And this wonderful winter scarf! The pic does not do this any justice at all. It is wonderfully soft and thick. The colors are saturated and just beautiful! Since it is very hot here 80's I will have to wait until the fall to be able to wear this beauty.
A great hand towel and some cute little decorative eggs
Some wonderful smelling soap, laces, trims and buttons with a few charms along with some cute pegs. A great Aussie flag as well...
She really spoiled me with some fabulous gifts. Thank you so much Kerrie for being such a thoughtful and wonderful partner. And thank you Jewels for another great swap! If you would like to see what my partner received you can go here for her post about the swap.

I have added to my little doodle booklet and only have two pages left to complete. This little book has a total of 16 pages that I have doodle on. I am enjoying the making of these little booklets very much. I also added to my larger ledger page doodle. It looked like it was missing something every time I looked at it. So I decided to add a bit more and now I am happy with it. Hope you guys are not tired of looking at these. I promise to have some stitch/quilty related goodness to post when I get back from my trip. Have a great day!

I love how this page has finished out as I used inspiration from one of my older ledger sheets(see post below) from a previous class with Karen...I now need to figure out how to put this into stitch...I am so inspired to keep going and will be taking this further down the road sometime...for now I have a lovely addition for the ledger...
